Week commencing 7th December, Part Two: Ask Me Why
The interviewees focus on the various elements within the group that combined to make The
Beatles so musically powerful: their strengths as performers - both
instrumentally and vocally - plus the brilliance of John Lennon, Paul
McCartney and George Harrison as songwriters.

Week commencing December 15th, Part Three: The Beatles On The Record
We hear how The Beatles' music was captured on record with the help
of innovative arrangements and adventurous production by George Martin.
Some of today's leading record producers - Peter Asher, Joe Boyd,
T-Bone Burnett, Jeff Lynne, Mark Ronson and Rick Rubin - marvel at the
dazzling creativity evident in recordings made more than 40 years ago.

Apple-Shaped USB Includes Complete Audio and Visuals from The Re-mastered
Stereo CDs

Following the 09.09.09 debut of the digitally re-mastered catalogue on
CD, Apple Corps Ltd. and EMI Music are pleased to announce the worldwide
release of a limited edition of only 30,000 Beatles Stereo USB apples on
December 7 (December 8 in North America).

The exquisitely crafted, apple-shaped USB drive is loaded with the
critically acclaimed re-mastered audio for The Beatles' 14 stereo
titles, as well as all of the re-mastered CDs' visual elements,
including 13 mini-documentary films about the studio albums, replicated
original UK album art, rare photos and expanded liner notes.

A specially designed Flash interface has been installed, and the 16GB

McCartney will perform the historic first concerts at Citi Field - the
new home of the Mets - Friday, July 17 and Saturday, July 18.

These inaugural concert events at Citi Field mark the latest in a series
of landmark performances that link the beloved Beatle with New York City
and the home of the Mets.

Beginning with The Beatles' legendary musical christening of Shea
Stadium in 1965, and continuing with McCartney's special
appearance at Billy Joel's "Last Play at Shea" show
that closed the stadium last year, McCartney's summer shows at
Citi Field will once again mark a momentous occasion in the history of
New York - and rock n' roll itself.

Beatles were the first to play at Shea Stadium and along with Billy Joel
I was the last to sing at the old Shea. So to be the first to play this

The Citi Field concerts on July 17 and July 18 will feature classics
from McCartney's extensive catalog, including Beatles, Wings and
solo career hits as well as selections from his most recent album
Electric Arguments, released under his alias The Fireman.

appearances since his recent headlining stand at the first night of this
year's Coachella festival and the same weekend's

The Beatles gave the first-ever concert at Shea Stadium on August 15,
1965, in front of more than 55,000 fainting, crying, and screaming fans.
It was, and remains to this day, the most historic concert ever, as it
was the first time in history that a sports stadium was used for a rock
concert. The groundbreaking Beatles concert at Shea set new attendance
records at the time; it was the first large-scale, outdoor concert that
demonstrated such events could be hugely successful and profitable.

On July 18, 2008, Paul McCartney returned to Shea for the first time in
43 years for an unannounced guest performance at Billy Joel's
"Last Play at Shea" concert. His signature Hofner bass in
hand, McCartney jumped on stage - surprising not only Joel but also the
sold-out audience of 55,000 - and launched straight into "I Saw
Her Standing There." McCartney closed the night with his seminal
anthem "Let It Be" featuring Joel on backing vocals, giving
the legendary Shea Stadium a truly memorable send-off. That show ended
just as McCartney's first-ever performance at Shea with The
Beatles had started - with a deafening response from the massive crowd.

Mark Ronson Added As the Latest Special Guest of Yoko Ono Plastic Ono
Band
LATEST: MARK RONSON ADDED AS THE LATEST SPECIAL GUEST OF YOKO ONO
PLASTIC ONO BAND FOR A ONE-OFF PERFORMANCE. THE SHOW IS ON JUNE 14 AT
THE ROYAL FESTIVAL HALL AND WILL BE THE DEBUT APPEARANCE IN THE UK OF
YOKO ONO PLASTIC ONO BAND.

Yoko Ono said: "I am thrilled to be asked to perform at Meltdown
and especially excited to play the first ever UK show as Yoko Ono

The legendary YOKO ONO has confirmed Mark Ronson and Antony Hegarty as
the latest addition to her live ensemble Yoko Ono Plastic Ono Band,
making their live British debut as part of Ornette Coleman's
Meltdown festival at Southbank Centre.

Ono, who rarely plays in the UK, will be playing a cross section of
material from her whole career, including new material from her
forthcoming album "BETWEEN MY HEAD AND THE SKY", which will
be released in the autumn on Chimera Music.

Show, the sold-out concert at New York's Shea Stadium in 1965, and

1966. The Beatles' studio years will come to life in legendary Studio 2
at Abbey Road Studios. Highlighting the studio years are inspired
artistic visual expressions known as Dreamscapes, intended to transport
players to imaginative environments that capture the essence of The
Beatles' genre-busting musical and fashion transformations during their
later years. The game follows The Beatles to 1969 where story mode

It was also announced today that "All You Need Is Love," will be
released exclusively on Xbox 360 video game and entertainment system
from Microsoft as a downloadable song for The Beatles: Rock Band through
Xbox LIVE on September 9, 2009 with all Apple Corps Ltd, MTV Games and
Microsoft proceeds benefitting Doctors Without Borders/Medecins Sans
Frontieres (MSF).

Sir Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, along with Yoko Ono Lennon and
Olivia Harrison, personally selected the international emergency medical
humanitarian organization created by doctors and journalists in France
in 1971 as the beneficiary of the proceeds from the sales of "All You
Need Is Love" for The Beatles: Rock Band. Doctors Without Borders
provides aid in more than 60 countries to people whose survival is
threatened by violence, neglect, or catastrophe, primarily due to armed
conflict, epidemics, malnutrition, exclusion from health care, or
natural disasters. The organization is committed to bringing quality
medical care to people caught in crisis regardless of race, religion, or
political affiliation.

The Beatles: Rock Band will offer a new set of hardware replicas
representing the instruments made famous by John, Paul, George and
Ringo. Featured in the set are the Rickenbacker 325 and Gretsch Duo Jet
guitars -hailed as two of the celebrated, signature instruments played
by John Lennon and George Harrison throughout their careers. Also
included is a Hofner bass controller - a large-scale replica of the bass
famously used by Sir Paul McCartney. Rounding out the set is a Ringo
Starr inspired, Ludwig - branded Rock Band 2 drum set with a classic
pearl finish and vintage replica Beatles kick drum head.

We are delighted to announce the release of the original Beatles
catalogue, which has been digitally re-mastered for the first time, for
worldwide CD release on Wednesday, September 9, 2009 (09-09-09), the same
date as the release of the widely anticipated "The Beatles: Rock Band"
video game.

Each of the CDs is packaged with replicated original UK album art,
including expanded booklets containing original and newly written liner
notes and rare photos. For a limited period, each CD will also be
embedded with a brief documentary film about the album. On the same
date, two new Beatles boxed CD collections will also be released.

The albums have been re-mastered by a dedicated team of engineers at
EMI's Abbey Road Studios in London over a four year period utilising
state of the art recording technology alongside vintage studio
equipment, carefully maintaining the authenticity and integrity of the
original analogue recordings. The result of this painstaking process is
the highest fidelity the catalogue has seen since its original release.

The collection comprises all 12 Beatles albums in stereo, with track
listings and artwork as originally released in the UK, and 'Magical
Mystery Tour,' which became part of The Beatles' core catalogue when the
CDs were first released in 1987. In addition, the collections 'Past
Masters Vol. I and II' are now combined as one title, for a total of 14
titles over 16 discs. This will mark the first time that the first four
Beatles albums will be available in stereo in their entirety on compact
disc. These 14 albums, along with a DVD collection of the documentaries,
will also be available for purchase together in a stereo boxed set.

Within each CD's new packaging, booklets include detailed historical
notes along with informative recording notes. With the exception of the
'Past Masters' set, newly produced mini-documentaries on the making of
each album, directed by Bob Smeaton, are included as QuickTime files on
each album. The documentaries contain archival footage, rare photographs
and never-before-heard studio chat from The Beatles, offering a unique
and very personal insight into the studio atmosphere.

A second boxed set has been created with the collector in mind. 'The
Beatles in Mono' gathers together, in one place, all of the Beatles
recordings that were mixed for a mono release. It will contain 10 of the
albums with their original mono mixes, plus two further discs of mono
masters (covering similar ground to the stereo tracks on 'Past
Masters'). As an added bonus, the mono "Help!" and "Rubber Soul" discs
also include the original 1965 stereo mixes, which have not been
previously released on CD. These albums will be packaged in mini-vinyl
CD replicas of the original sleeves with all original inserts and label
designs retained.

Discussions regarding the digital distribution of the catalogue will
continue. There is no further information available at this time.
